Architecture Landscape Urbanism were approached in 2019 to take on this project to develop a new mixed use building on a vacant site in South East London. The site had a lapsed planning permission, however the local authority had refused to grant permission when the site owner applied for the renewal of the previously approved scheme.
We revised the scheme accordingly and worked tirelessly through further planning negotiations and appeals to achieve permission to construct a building of 6 one and two bedroom flats and 2 commercial units on the ground floor in 2020.
The site was then sold to another developer in 2022 who retained our services to detail the scheme and to assist throughout the construction phase. The construction was finally completed in 2025.
